In math, we have been learning about the names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We have been learning about interesting words like edges, faces and vertices. I have created fact cards about different 2D shapes. Check out my slides!

In maths this term we have been focusing on learning strategies for addition and subtraction. for Matariki , I have created a star constellationion and used my addition strategies to calculate the total distances.

There was a Rhino that was running up a hill and it was running so fast that that it knocked over a tree and then he made it up the hill and when and when he made it up he saw the sunset so he sleeped there and in the morning he was hungry so he went to go find some grass and while he was looking for some grass he found a hole field of grass and it was nice and fresh and clean and the Rhino was so happy and while he was eating the he heard a sound and he and he looked at where the sound was coming from and it was coming from the bush and while he was looking at it he it made another sound. And then he started to charge at the bush and then I jumped out and on his back. And I started to ride him and he went nuts. Then I jumped off his back and grabbed some grass and fed him. And then we started to travel when I was riding the Rhino I felt good it was like riding a Horse and I loved it.
